As a small business and design studio in 2020, during what has been a difficult year for many around the world including us, we have been for the most part focused on our own survival. Keeping our staff employed, our rent paid, making sure we can continue to do our part for the local and global economy while also trying to provide some inspiration and brightness along the way.

The fact is, believing is not enough. Surviving is not enough. Sharing, posting, and commenting is not enough.

We want to do more. So here is a start.

The Auction

These original paintings by Lora Zombie are being offered by a blind auction, open for bidding now.

To bid please email hello@lorazombie.com submitting the title of the piece(s) and the maximum amount you would like to bid before Monday, June 8th, at 12 Noon EDT.

On Monday afternoon we will send an email confirming the highest bid for each piece, allowing for anyone who would like to submit a new bid for the next 24 hours to do so before the auction closes on Tuesday June 9th, at Noon EDT.

We will then invoice the highest bidders for payment and your piece will be shipped by UPS Expedited anywhere in the world free of charge. All pieces are signed and include a signed Certificate of Authenticity.

The Charity

We have selected the Nia Centre for the Arts, a Toronto-based charitable organization that supports, showcases and promotes an appreciation of arts from across the African Diaspora. Nia creates spaces to support young people, emerging and established artists to hone their artistic talents, prepare them for jobs in the creative sector and enhance their capacity for entrepreneurship.

Their ‘keep that energy’ slogan and spirit to build the creative capacities and support the development of Black youth resonates strongly for us, they are a smaller local charity we believe will be most positively affected by our support of the various options we considered.

Auction Proceeds

100% of the total proceeds of this auction will be donated. All related expenses, including but not limited to payment processing, shipping, and packaging will be covered by us.
